My son is 10 months and he will rest his head on my shoulder if I'm holding him and get all shy

She doesn’t close her eyes but she won’t really give them any eye contact or will look away

At 7 months my son played with 3 old ladies on a coach. At 14 months he played with an woman and her husband, he also learnt how to high five with a man who was with his kids on a plane. At 18 months he played with two random kids and talked to their mother while we were stuck in a coach station. He doesn't do shy 😂

My nearly two year old daughter does this all the time. Mainly with men. She feels uncomfortable and closes her eyes and pretends they aren’t there.

Only one of my kids has been this shy, she’s 3 now and still shy but she won’t shut her eyes anymore and at least says hello and waves but she still won’t really have a conversation with someone she doesn’t know.
