Vegan baby ?

Is there such a thing ? How do you raise a vegan baby ? What do they eat ? Do they need vitamins ? Very curious I have a 8 month old and our family wants to go vegan

Sea moss also has 92 out of 102 vitamins and minerals for babies . you can soak it, blend it into a gel and feed it to your baby or even add it in smoothies . i would also suggest joining Facebook groups for vegan parents, that will give more insight since this app doesn’t really have active users in this group lol

You just need to breastfeed as long as possible since there’s no healthy/adequate vegan formula for babies.  My son is vegan & he’s now 3 & in the 90% for height & 50% for weight & ridiculously bright.  He has spirulina everyday & lots of healthy plant based fats like sprouted seeds & nuts & avocado.  We give him Garden of Life vitamins, D3, & Methylated B vitamins as well.  Good luck!!

yes?? you just feed it normal baby food but vegan 🤷‍♀️ majority of baby food is automatically vegan just read the labels

Just read your son is 8 months.  So I would do whatever veggies & fruit purées....& add lentil purée & acacado & coconut cream (full fat).....also any coconut cream yogurts (read the labels for sugar content) adds some good microbiome into their diets.  There’s also a nutrient dense nut butter called “Nuttzo” which you can blend into anything for a major nutritional boost.  And also add spirulina powder & d3 & b drops into the food.

I wouldn't advise it. There's a lot of ways that you can miss calculate what macros and micros they need. Also veganism is a moral choice I don't think it's wise to make that decision for somebody else. When the child's old enough if they admire your veganism and want to follow in your footsteps 100% change their diet and cater to them but while they're still growing I think it's best you give them everything they absolutely need and the best way possible instead of trying to find alternatives.

yeah there’s a thing. reading labels are important bc a lot of things you wouldn’t think to have milk, has milk. it’s more important to be a healthy vegan bc babies are still developing at rapid rates so everything has to have good nourishment . a good milk alternative is hemp milk bc protein comes from hemp (it has all the amino acids) and smoothie bowls and porridge are good for breakfast . just to throw out some ideas.
