Contractions

Contractions started this morning around 7-8 mins apart. They progressed to 5-7. Now they’re around 5 mins. Called L&D and said they had no room and to wait until I’m 3 mins apart. She said “you sound fine, so I wouldn’t rush in” I go “ I sound fine because I’m not contracting at the moment” and she goes “ you can talk through them though right?” And I was like “ no... I can’t even keep my eyes open I have to focus and breathe while gripping something.” And she just goes “oh... well you’re still second on my list to call for the induction so hopefully we can get you in in a few hours.” I was like okay.... so I just wait till they’re 3 mins? And she goes “ yeah or if your water breaks then come in, but other than that just hang out at home and wait it out.” All nonchalantly like I wasn’t in pain. Today is my due date, and I lost my bloody show the other day while at the hospital. I was supposed to get induced at 7 am but they called to post pone it because there were other higher risk inductions ahead of me. So annoyed with this hospital right now. Well more so the nurse I talked to who tried to down play how I feel without even asking.
