Birth control ?

Did anyone use birth control as part of their protocol? My dr wants me to do 10 days of birth control before starting 2 weeks of meds before my transfer. Is this a normal protocol? If so has anyone had success with this?

I just finished 3 weeks of BC. My baseline is scheduled for Thursday to check the follicle count. 🤞🏻

I am doing the antagonist cycle and I will be starting birth control as part of my cycle also

Yes. I was on it from March 27 to April 23, 2017. I started stimulating on April 28, retrieval on May 11, and a transfer on May 16. My Lupron started on April 16.

I am on antagonist ivf protocol.. my pretreatment consisted of 10 days of bcp with adding orgalutran the last 5 days of the pretreatment

Yes it’s normal. I had my egg retrieval in November Currently getting ready for my frozen transfer the week of February 3rd not sure what day yet just know it will be that week! I’m so excited and ready!!
