Wear a bra when milk comes in ?

I hate wearing bras but do u need to to help with engorging my milk is in or almslt in ? Can’t tell this is my second baby. How important is it to wear a bra. I’m jsut home so it’s much easier access to just be in a t shirt for all this in demand nursing

For me a bra is necessary so I can wear beast pads and not peak all over, because my nipples have become extremely sensitive with breastfeeding, and because my boobs are super heavy now. But if none of those things bothers you there's no reason to wear a bra

After a few weeks I ditched the bra at home. Didn’t care if my shirt got wet if I leaked I detest the bra pads with a passion.

OMG I got this bralette from Walmart
It has no wiring
No cups
No pads 
So it’s just like wearing a light sports bra and I live in them
When BF I pull it up and it’s so nice

I always wore one because I didn't like the feeling of leaking freely on my shirt. So bras and at the beginning pads in the bra. It was amazing to finally go braless when I stopped nursing lol

I was never told to wear a bra and then my aunt (used to be a nurse in a maternity ward) came over and saw that I didn’t have a bra on and told me I needed to start wearing one. Apparently it’s more so for the pain, so I guess if you’re not in pain and yo don’t mind getting wet because you aren’t wearing a nursing pad, then I don’t see what the big deal I’m not having one would be. I have a sleep bra that I’ve been wearing now that my milk has fully come in. It because I would be soaked if I didn’t.

No bra here! I tried with my last and it was a no go! So definitely didn’t even attempt with this one. I always have worn undershirts and I love the ones that have the built in bra type thing. No padding or anything. Like a nursing tank but you can get them at Walmart in the regular clothes section! They are my life lol you can still put a pad in there which I would do in the beginning but we are 4 months in and no longer have that issue of leaking ALL the time only occasionally lol! They are super easy and comfortable to feed in

A bra is absolutely a necessity for me. I have big boobs, so the support really helps them be a bit less painful. I can't imagine having fabric rub on my nipples all day when they are so sore in the beginning. I also leak all the time, so I wear breast pads and would be miserable without. Try it out not wearing one if you want.
