Best thermometer??

My little guy had his 4 month shots yesterday (a couple weeks delayed due to RSV) and he has been fighting a fever. What kind of thermometer do you use and like?

I use a temporal thermometer that you just scan the forehead with. Exergen is the brand they use at my doctors office for this type of thermometer

I use this one. It’s $4.99 on Amazon. I like that you can use it 3 different ways and it has the little raised part so you know how far to go for rectal.

We have a kinsa digital that works for us- we take rectal temps with it and it’s pretty fast to register.

I have the safety 1st advanced solutions 4 in 1 thermometer and absolutely love it. Amazon has it for like $17, but other stores may have it cheaper. It lights up when the temp is too high and can switch between rectal, underarm, oral, and bath.
