Has anyone ever had an industrial piercing just not fit their ear? I had mine done a few years ago and absolutely loved the look of it and the 2 actual piercings were healing well but the bar through the middle was cutting into this part of my ear. Nothing I did helped and it continued to cut through until it had literally looked like a chunk of flesh was taken from that part.

Is my ear shape just not suitable for an industrial or is there something I can do? I really loved the piercing but dont want to go through that pain again if it's just not going to work out. My piercer said it'll heal but the pain was unbearable and it was just going deeper and deeper into the ridge of my ear so I took it out.
