Does your newborn sleep in the same bed as you?

I can’t get my newborn to sleep in the bassinet. We are currently sleeping in the same bed. Mostly sleeping on me.

No. I wouldn’t get any sleep if he slept in my bed. I would constantly worry.

We co-sleep and I am not ashamed at all. We all get an amazing amount of sleep, typically two 4-5 hour stretches every night! Check out La Leche Leagues website, just google “La Leche League Cosleeping”. There is a ton of wonderful info that is supported with medical facts to help you feel more at ease if you feel cosleeping is something that would be beneficial to your family. It is way more common than you think, and is much less taboo around the world in other cultures. Best of luck no matter what option you choose 💕

I answered no because most nights she sleeps in her crib next to my bed but when she is really fussy she sleeps on me. Just so we can both get some sleep. 
Just recently it’s going better with sleeping in her own crib and she is sleeping longer at night

I do both, if my fiance is out all night then i cuddle with bub like i do during the day but if the Mr is in bed with me then bub will sleep in her bassinet

I use a dockatot in bed with us...expensive but worth every penny. He is 7 weeks old, exclusively breastfed, and sleeps 3-5 hours at a time.

My son mostly sleeps in his cradle but he got a really bad cold last week so we had him sleeping in a rock n play (doesnt have a motor so it's basically jus a snuggly rocker) because its inclined so he could breathe better and jus holding him upright all day for 6 days and the transition back to the cradle has been a little difficult so hes been in our bed a couple times but my SO is soo nervous about cosleeping so I'm trying really hard to get him back in the cradle.

For her first sleep usually 11-3 in her crib then from the rest of the time it’s with me in bed I wish it wasn’t but she won’t go back to sleep after her first deep sleep .

I just enjoy co-sleeping and I have since the day my baby was born :) my first baby I didn’t start co-sleeping until 2w but I just lay them next to me and go to sleep

I’m really trying hard to get her into her bassinet at night. She does great for the first 3 hours then I’m up every 5 min consoling her. It’s really getting to me. I get maybe 3 hours of sleep per day. She is 6 weeks old tomorrow. I have no idea how so many babies are sleeping happily for hours without being held. I wish I knew how to get her to sleep in her bassinet!
