How are your babies doing?

Question

Time to brag about your babies! Or need to vent? Now's the Time! Share anything and everything going on with your LO at the moment. Milestones, difficulties, first birthday plans, etc. How has the first year been? Do you have any unique hacks? Favorite activities?
But most importantly how are YOU doing Momma? This first year has been tough, that's for sure! We're here for you ❤️ and MANY of us are going through the same things. What are you struggling with? What advice do you have for the other women here?

Mine has trouble sleeping and I’ve gone through months of PND. I’m starting to see a light though which is good. She is worth it though 💓

The beginning was SO tough with my baby having colic, but I’m so happy she grew out of it.  I just feel so happy to have my daughter.  She’s currently napping on me in bed and I should be doing my schoolwork but I’ve just been sitting here for 2 hours just looking at her and holding her and feeling her little brother kick. I’m still amazed that I grew her and have her little brother on the way. Our bodies are just amazing!

My daughter is going to have a rough next couple of weeks because I'm having my hysterectomy tomorrow (1/20) and I won't be able to pick her up. Thankfully my parents are home for those two weeks and are going to be helping me take care of her while my husband's at work during the day. She is my only and the reason I found out about a medical condition that I've suffered with all my life and never knew about. She really is the best and I am always trying to be better for her.

My little one is walking and throwing tantrums. My baby is a toddler, and it’s thrown me!

In the beginning it was tough but things have gotten better. I started taking medication for PND and it has worked a ton but to be honest I still have connection issues with my son and feel that I am doing everything wrong as a mom. He’s not developing well but people around me reassures me that he’s fine. 
He doesn’t socialise well - when he’s around other kids or even us at times he seems very spaced out. He’s not walking or pulling himself up. He doesn’t say many words. He smiles but it still takes a bit of effort to get him to smile. I wonder if I wasn’t so depressed in those first 6 months he would not be behind. I was never cheery or excited and he’s picked up on that. I f’ed my kid up.

The beginning was hard, nursing was difficult had to wear a nipple shield for 7 weeks had his tongue tie laser. At 3 months postpartum had to get my gallbladder removed. Had to deal with clogged ducts, on the verge of mastitis. I also had a 3 year old to care for plus the baby but all in all got the hang of it, got in a routine of taking care of two kids and we are here and happy. My baby started crawling at 6 months and walked at 9 1/2 months. He doing great!

My little man is going to be 1 on Valentine’s Day! We’re doing a rookie of the year theme for his birthday. He’s definitely getting closer to walking, he even took 4 steps today! He also has 7 teeth.
