Around 12 weeks or 12 weeks even?

I see people say that you CANNOT start showing before 12 weeks. And it is ONLY bloat. But why is 12 like this magic number that suddenly you're "allowed to pop" then. I mean everyone's body is different, no? I'm sure there is a small window in which it moves above the pubic bone. 
Or is it like literal FACT. 12 weeks. Not before. Not even after. But sometime during the twelfth week that uterus is gonna move above the bone? 
I like knowing the facts lol. 
Because I'm only 8weeks, but closer to 6/7... so I cant expect to pop any sooner. I showed at 14 weeks with my first. I'm 105 lbs pre pregnancy, this time and last time. So I'll prob pop at 15 weeks again because I'm behind.
What a piss off. Sooner my ass lol.

It’s because before 12 weeks your uterus is still so small that it doesn’t even rise up past the top of your pubic bone. It can’t be the bump from your uterus then because it’s not big enough for that. At 12 weeks it’s even with the top of it. After that it starts to rise above it. The way I look at it though is... bloat or not, the reason you’re bumpin is because you have a baby growing in you, so I say it’s your bump even if it’s not the form bump you’ll have later on. 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s just science. Along with the uterus not rising up before then, baby is also super small. 
Yes, everyone’s body and everyone’s pregnancy is different but there’s different “milestones” during pregnancy that happen at certain times. 
It can also depend on the position of your uterus before pregnancy. I have a retroverted uterus and I didn’t see or feel a noticeable bump until around 15 weeks and my doctor also didn’t find a heartbeat on a doppler until then. I had ultrasounds to hear heartbeat before then.

I didn’t “pop” until around 30 weeks. I started showing at 18.
