I’ve had HSV2 for three years now. This is my third outbreak since the initial and usually acyclovir treats it within the 7 days. I’m soooo ugh, I don’t even know what word to use to describe this feeling. So I started the acyclovir again when I noticed a small sore in November. It did nothing, so my dr told me here’s some more try again. Nothing, and it spread. So we upgraded to Valacyclovir “the Mercedes Benz of herpes medecine” as she referred to it. 7 days, 3 pills a day, nothing! It spread more. So she gave me a 90 pill bottle told me do 7 days 3x a day again and then one everyday after that. Today’s my follow up on that, still no change and it’s now slowly going further down from my clit area. I just wanna cry 😭 Has anyone experience anything similar? How do you handle the burning, and my period came early so now I gave that constant moisture making it sting more. I needed to vent :(
