Ok, so we've been married for 18 years. We've had 2 children, 2 miscarriages, and several years of trying to get pregnant. Our youngest will be 9 next month and we are finally pregnant again! 11 weeks today. So far everything looks good but we are still scared to share the news with everybody. The few that we've told were told that we weren't telling a lot of people yet. But...my mother-in-law is telling everybody!! I've had people congratulate me and of course I ask them how they knew. They inform me it was my mother-in-law. I was ready to shout it from the rooftops but it was my husband's suggestion to wait. So, when i complain to him that his mom is telling everyone he claims that she is just excited. ?? Excuse me??? Dont you think I'm excited?? I have been honoring his wishes but she is spreading MY joyous news. I've still got a few people that I'm close to that I havent told yet and I'm afraid they'll hear it through the grapevine before I get to share the news. Now, how do I go about handling this or am I just being a big baby? He is by no means a mommas boy so I dont get why he acts like it's no big deal.
