Should I carry on testing with opk? or when should I test with opk?

Hi so the past couple months I haven't been testing with opks because I felt they never helped much. So iv decided this month im gunna start using them again and see if helps! I started my period 17th and finished yesterday/today, So I done a opk today, should I carry on testing from today? Or when should I start testing? Thanx

I know some test once a day while others test twice. Since I’ve recently gone off the pill I tested once a day until closer to my predicted ovulation, then 2. And as many as four times a day once it was positive. Depending on your tests there are better times to test, most its 11-5 or so. Others test twice a day trying to give a 8-12 hour range so a lesser likelihood of missing a positive or peak
