SVT diagnosis

hey mommas, have any of you ever had to deal with/been diagnosed with SVT (super ventricular tachycardia)? was it only pregnancy related or an ongoing issue? if ongoing, how did it change during pregnancy?

long story short- I ended up in the ER last night with a horrible SVT episode (hr in the 210’s and bp 157/107) they ended up giving me a dose of adenosine (spelling?) and that thankfully worked.

this isn’t my first episode of SVT, but definitely my longest. from start time to the time of the medication was well over an hour. ive never had this checked out because it always resolved itself somehow in 3-5 minutes. but I’ve always felt like I’ve had small episodes of tachycardia/heart palpitations for my whole life, and those have definitely increased with pregnancy. just wanting some personal insight or stories, I do have a phone call with my OB scheduled for today and a referral to a cardiologist so I will be making that appointment as well. but my anxiety is really high just knowing it could randomly happen again and be uncontrollable again. thanks mommas 😭😫💗
