8 week ultrasound - baby not moving?

I had my ultrasound at 8+3 yesterday, and baby measured right on track at 8+3 with a heart beat of 183. Doctor said everything looked good! I was a little surprised that the baby wasn’t moving, but she didn’t mention that being a problem. Did anyone else’s baby not move at their 8 week ultrasound? I’ve read a lot of things that say many people do see movement at this ultrasound.

I went for a early one at 8w 4d and my baby wasn’t moving either I didn’t worry about it cause I’m sure they would have metioned if it was concern all I saw was the baby and the heart beat and it was enough to reassure me 🥰I wouldn’t worry to much about it I bet at your dating scan your baby will be moving a lot

My baby was not moving at 8 weeks but when I went back at 9w3d baby was moving it’s arms and feet. I wouldn’t worry!

The baby was probably sleeping!! Next time drink some orange juice or apple juice before the ultrasound and watch the difference!! 😘

I just had a scan at 13 weeks and baby wasn’t moving much. The only movement we got was watching baby stick it’s thumb in it’s mouth. Our baby was sleeping. But heart rate and measuring on track are good so I wouldn’t worry at all.

My son never really moved at any scan all the way to the end. But he’s one hyper baby so was no sign of his energy lol. This baby, I had a scan today and the baby was all over the place, this was new to me.

The only movement on my 8 week US was the heart beating like crazy, right in the middle of the baby. So cool!

My second oldest wasn’t really moving at my scan when he was 14 weeks then right at the end he made a little jumping movement 😂 he remained laid back 😂 my youngest was all over the place at 11 weeks like all over the place. He is ADHD and always on the go 🤪
