Anyone have experience with antidepressants?

Hello everyone

So I’ve never take any anxiety meds in my life. I’m a mom to a two year old and hand a pretty traumatic birth...I’m having horrible anxiety for the past two years. I thought I could push thru it but I’m thinking I’m trying something.

My dr suggested Zoloft for about 9-12 months then a taper. With talk therapy of course.

My only issue is will this really only be for 9-12 months? Not to mention I’m moving to another country.

Do u usually stay on these meds for a really long time ? I also want another baby sometime next year.
