How many items were/are on your registry?

I'm just curious to see if there's a "right" amount. I don't expect people to purchase everything, it's actually more of a list for my husband and I to cross of   I just don't want to come across greedy.

50-100 if I remember correctly. But i got maybe 1 thing off of it at my baby shower 😂 I used it more for a checklist for myself for all the things I needed. Whether or not I bought them from my own registry or somewhere else.

We have Probably 50 per registry, with items of all price ranges. With amazon and target you get a 15% discount within 60 days of delivery so we put anything we might need on our registry. Not expecting people to necessarily buy those things for us, you can set items to private. If I can save 15% on baby shampoo and nipple pads, why not?

This sounds weird but we literally can’t put enough on it. We have a Facebook page with almost 500,000 followers and they all wanted us to do a registry so they can send the baby something. We will be doing a live baby shower so they can watch us open our gifts. I think we currently have 120 items or so on the list that have all been purchased - and it’s really hard to think of more to add.

We used ours as our “master list” and had literally everything on it for both baby and myself except clothes. Breast pads, nipple cream, swing, changing pad, sheets, books, baby shampoo, crib, decor, etc. I found it best to have everything in one place so I didn’t forget to purchase something. We got about 20-30 items at the baby shower and purchased the rest ourselves.

I think it mostly depends on how many guests you will invite to your baby shower. I only had 15 people so there were only 40 items on my registry.

A general rule of thumb is 2 gifts per person you are inviting so they have options

I put a bunch of stuff on mine I want or will need because target gives you a discount on items not bought. So if its something we really need we can buy it ourselves at a cheaper price which is nice! They say rule of thumb two gifts per person invited just like a bridal shower.

I had about 60 on mine. Only 6 items we got came from our registry, so we pretty much bought everything ourselves. 🤷🏼‍♀️
