Genetic testing resulting in a Mosaic embryo?

After 5 retrievals we finally got 1 embryo that’s considered a “Mosaic”. That’s where some cells are normal, others are abnormal. I’ll be 38 in a few weeks. Due to age and family history I’m high risk. My fertility doctor has never done Mosaic frozen transfer and I was wondering if this is common... has anyone decided to implant a mosaic? My doctor also said that it has led to normal healthy births but the rate of pregnancy is low. Am I alone???

My re will only transfer low level mosaics if that is all we have. I also have seen studies where they have resulted in normal babies. If you can't do another retrieval, I would transfer it.

I’ve definitely read that they can produce healthy babies. That’s probably at the heart of the current controversy about PGT/PGS.

I read a study on mosaics. Some of them manage to eliminate most of abnormalities via further division in time. Not all of them depending on the specific presenting gene abnormalities. I think like 30 percent managed to become absolutely healthy pregnancies. If you cannot get pregnant naturally and you are older with low amh and high fhs and have no other embryos and no other options to finance another cycle give it a chance. Let the nature run its course. Keep in mind not all perfect looking embryos or all pg tested birmal embryos develop in viable pregnancy. Either way you roll the dice but you have higher chances with normal tested embryos but something and some chance for baby is always better than nothing on my book. My only embryo was looking perfect not pg tested and i lost it 4th week.
