Has anyone else fainted while pregnant?

Jessica

Has anyone else fainted yet? I’ve had a really sensitive stomach lately, especially in the mornings. Yesterday, I woke up really thirsty so I went and gulped my water a little too quickly. I could feel myself about to vomit so I rushed back to the sink, threw up a couple of times, then blanked out and came to sitting on the floor, leaning up against the cabinet.

Fortunately my husband was still home and in the kitchen, so he managed to grab me to soften my fall and stop me from hitting my head. He said I took the cutlery rack with me on my way down and I very luckily avoided being stabbed by the giant knife that was in there drying! When I came to, my little 1 year old was crying, she could tell something was wrong 😭

We went to the doctors and she didn’t seem too concerned. My blood pressure was a little low but not alarming. ECG looked fine and a now I’m just waiting for bloods to come back.

Has this happened to anyone else at all? It was all a little bit scary but from what I’ve read it seems to not be uncommon 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never had morning sickness/sensitivity this bad in my first pregnancy nor did I faint, so it’s all a little new to me!

I am 7 weeks 5 days today. Unfortunately I have to take thyroid medication in the morning on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before eating, so I think I’m just going to have to get used to sipping my water. 😂
