Paraguard Experience

Hello ladies, about a year ago I got the iUD named “Paraguard”, no hormones whatsoever on this one. I opted for this one bc I was still breastfeeding my daughter and wanted to continue.

But, things I noticed was, my period was heavy and lasted longer. I would get horrible cramps too. And what made me decide to remove it right before a year, was I was starting to shed a lot of hair. My hair was thinking out and I was freaking out I’d go bald.

I did my research and realized these are some of the side affects. Also “copper toxicity”? Wow, I didnt even know that, its a great birth control choice, I just didn’t like the down side of it.

Anywho after removing it, my hair is finally growing back slowly but surely.
