Variocele????

Hi everyone,

My husband just has a semen analysis and his numbers were terrible. 17 mil and 15% motility. They want to do an ultrasound. I did notice that he had a small vein that looks a little puffy closer near his left testicle in the scrotum. Not on the side. I was looking up varioceles and it seems like they account for poor sperm count and moliity. However from everything I read it send as though they only appear on the side of the scrotum. Does anyone else have a husband with a variocele? Where was it located?
