anxiety about sex?

for some background i’m in a LDR with a guy i absolutely adore. we were friends and then he moved away! he makes me so happy and i love him so much.

there is ... however a liiiittle tiny issue, lol.

my sexual experience is limited to people with vaginas mostly, and i’ve learned that i’m incredibly sensitive and .. intolerant to pain.

here’s where my man comes in. we’ll be seeing eachother for the first time in person since dating relatively soon and we’re so horny for eachother it’s obscene. but i’m worried about actually having sex with him only because i’m sort of petite down there and he’s larger than average (no complaints here because damn). i’m really worried it’s going to hurt.

i’ve mentioned how sensitive i am to him and he’s said he would be gentle upon entering and in the beginning of course until i got used to his size, but we’re both turned on by the rougher things even though i’m nervous about them. it’s caused me a fair bit of anxiety and i would really like to be confident with him!

are there any tips for getting over this? or for making our first time as enjoyable and *pain-free* as possible? thanks!
