Hi guys, I'm planning on getting an bc implant in my arm and i have never let my so cum in me so i was wondering if it was safe to let him come in me with absolutely no chance of getting pregnant. And how long should i wait to have unprotected sex after the implant? Any tips would be so appreciated. I'm planning on surprising him and i just want to enjoy the moment without having "what if" thoughts. Please help a girl out  💫

Even if you get the implant it’s not 100% effective. So you can still get pregnant. Small chance but women get pregnant on birth control all the time

If u get the implant inserted while on ur period (within the first 5 days of it), then it’s effective immediately. Otherwise, it takes a full 7 days to be effective. Once it’s effective, ur 99.9% protected from pregnancy. The implant is the most effective method available outside of abstinence. So, chances of pregnancy are extremely slim!! If u still want extra protection then condoms or even just spermicide is good to use as well, but technically it’s not necessary. It’s all up to u & what ur comfortable with. I’ve had the implant for 5 years (on my second implant) and have never gotten pregnant with it.

My advice to everyone is: if you were to wind up pregnant would you get an abortion? If so, then double up on BC methods. Like pull out and bc combined. I only say this bc I’m against abortion being used as birth control for us being irresponsible.
