Okayyy long post bare with me.

So three years back I had my son and I’m only realising now after doing my birth plan with my second something doesn’t seem right. So with my first I had to undergo an emergency  caesarean and was knocked out. I woke up (still drugged off my face) so can’t remember things at all just snippets. But I went to sleep with my partner/sister and MIL there as support people. I woke up to my MIL and now my SIL there who wasn’t there or invited holding my baby as I woke up! (My partner raced home with my sister to get my over night bags incase of this  scenario happening) I didn’t think anything of it at the time as I was too happy to see my baby more than anything. Next day I asked my MIL how did (we will call her Jane) Jane* get here. She replied with “ she just rocked up here unannounced to see her nephew and just went from there” HERE IS MY QUESTION!!!

Would a hospital maternity ward allow someone who ain’t on my birth plan nor am I awake to even allow someone to visit me, come though and let her hold and meet my baby while I’m still in surgery????!!

ORRRRRRR did she have to be invited by let’s say my MIL who was the only one who knee the bedroom I was in and she walked her though and let her meet my baby before I even woke
