Should my MIL continue to watch my older son while I’m on maternity leave

I have a son 15 months old and my daughter is 3 weeks old. I get 12 weeks maternity leave and I have 9 weeks left. My MIL watches my son 3 days a week and once I go back to work she’ll be watching him and my daughter. My mil is very weird with my son, it always seems like she’s competing with me for his affection. Even when my daughter was born, in the hospital they came to visit me and she made me wait “my turn” to hold my son.

Anyway, I have a somewhat stressful job, I work m-f 9-6 then a 45 minute commute home so once I go back to work, I unfortunately won’t be spending much time with my babies 😔.

My mil asked my husband if she can continue to watch my older son for the rest of my maternity leave. I am so against it, this is first time I can actually enjoy and spend time with my babies instead of seeing them 2 hours after work while trying to keep up with dinner, cleaning, laundry and everything else. My husband doesn’t think it’s a big deal, and maybe even she can take him once a week. I considered once a week, but honestly I am so sick of her always crying to my husband and getting her way. She will be with them again in 9 short weeks, this is my only time with them. I should also add the 3 times a week she used to watch him, she still comes over to visit on those days so she is still seeing them regularly. I feel like that should be enough without her taking him from me.
