Inductions

So my ob has decided it’s better to induce me a few days before my due date. We are excited but I don’t want to announce anything because I hate knowing that everyone is going to have their negative input on getting induced. There is obviously a reasoning behind it but why does everyone feel like they can sit and be rude about it. Just because I don’t list reasons on a post doesn’t mean it’s “only to rush baby”. We’ve had MULTIPLE early labor scares this pregnancy (my 5th) so him actually making it to 39weeks has amazed everyone! I’ll be 39+5 when I go to get induced- if I make it over the weekend.

Like why do I people make you feel like shit for not explaining every single thing- like it’s our life and our child we are doing what we and our dr thinks is best for the baby. I hate feeling like we can’t be happy and tell everyone because of so many judgmental people
