Bleeding in early pregnancy

I am currently ttc my second, it’s taking significantly longer and I find myself worrying about every possible thing.

My latest: during my first pregnancy at 9.5 weeks I had a massive amount of bleeding in the middle of the night . We called the ER and they said it could well be a miscarriage but waiting until morning to call my Dr wouldn’t change anything. Of course I got in right away and a sono confirmed heartbeat- apparently a period like amount of bleeding can happen without complications. Thankfully. Our son is now a healthy and wild three.

I’m just so afraid it will happen again, or that it means I could miscarriage. In my mind I know that no two pregnancies are the same but it’s still in the back of my mind!
