Wet diapers at night

I use a size up night diapers with booster pads and he still wakes with soaked diapers a few times a night.... he eats dinner an hour before bed but still wants a bottle and another one or two at night or he throws a fit and won’t go to sleep. Tried to break this routine. Any other suggestions to help him sleep through the night without so many wakings. He’s in his own room and crib. He will go down without a bottle at times if I give him a teddy then sneak in and take it once he’s asleep. He’s strong and can move stuff from his face. Think it’s safe to keep the teddy in?
