LDR and Emotions

I am in a long distance relationship and I am not sad about it. On the contrary I feel happy and excited when my bf is with me when he visits but when he leaves and it’s been a few days I don’t feel sad I just feel fine. Is this normal? I should also add that we talk everyday as well and several times a day so I don’t know if it’s because I don’t get the chance to miss him.

Should I be more upset or am I just overthinking this all?
