I’m almost 6 weeks postpartum & I’m still bleeding bright red & kinda heavy. 1 pad a day is soaked by the time I take a shower. I stopped bleeding & then I recently just started back. Should I be concerned?

It's pretty common to start bleeding again at 6 weeks even if you completely stopped previously. I didn't know about it and panicked only to feel like an idiot when I was told it's normal/common.

I bled for about 2 months postpartum with my first. I tore with him as well, so recovery was a little more tough. But especially if you were too active too soon after delivery, your bleeding can last longer than expected. Just have to tough it out unfortunately :/
