Hemorrhoids & constipation!!??

Third pregnancy, 5 months now but first time experiencing constipation and hemorrhoids any suggestions? It’s So painful that I’m ready to take my ass to the ER.

Milk of magnesia (for instant relief) & I got prescription hemorrhoid cream which worked so much better than otc creams for me. 31w and still dealing with this

I’m so sorry. This happened to me too and I swear sometimes it was more painful than contractions. One thing I did is when sitting, I sat onto son’s lounger pillow or soemthing with an idention or hole in it to take the pressure off your bottom. I also tried ice packs (though hard to reach that area), but if you can get them somewhat in the right spot, that helped me too.

Soft softener and preparation h- use the rounded tip that's provided,  it will coat everything. Try not to sit on the toilet too long and don't strain. Let stool softener do it's job. Docusate is on the list of approved drugs from my doctor while pregnant. I had the same problems postpartum with #1.
