My husband lied to me. Am I wrong for being mad?

My husband and I are due to have a baby in less than 3 weeks. 
We decided once we knew the name, we weren’t going to announce it to anyone until she is born. Because people in our family are super judgey on both sides. He promised me he wouldn’t. And I did as well. We both wanted it to be a surprise 
Well today he asked me to text his grandma for
Him, and I saw texts from the last time he had texted her. He told her our daughters name. First and middle.
Honestly I’m hurt because he lied. And I didn’t want anyone to know. Am I wrong for being mad? Do I tell him that I know he told someone? Do I keep it to myself?...

It’s his grandma at the end of the day just coz u didn’t want ppl to know don’t mean he didn’t he mite have just said it to keep u happy

It’s not like he told the world he told his grandmother. Maybe he just wanted to share it with her. I wouldn’t call this a lie as such and if he’s not told anyone else and your baby is due soon anyway I personally don’t see a major problem with it and they are going to find out anyway in a matter of weeks. 
If my family was judgy I would rather tell them a few weeks before so that once baby was born they didn’t voice their opinions then as that would make me really angry 
You are entitled to feel how you feel but I think maybe it’s not really that bad

It would bug me that he didn't tell me since you had agreed not to tell. I wouldn't think of it as "lying to you" though, and if you approach it that way it will become a bigger deal than it needs to be. It's more of a, hey in the future if you feel the need to tell her that's fine, but I want you to be able to be honest with me.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much! It’s his grandma - and if it’s what you’re sure you’re naming your baby at the end of the day does it really matter?? 
We had a name picked out and we were dead set on it but chose not to tell people because I was afraid we might change our minds when we saw him. I was afraid someone would embroider it on a blanket or something lol i was glad we hadn’t told anyone because both first and middle names were wrong for our baby when we saw him. We went with names we’d never even considered for him. I probably wouldn’t start a fight over it though, but maybe ask why he told her? Our grandma passed away a few weeks before our baby was born too. She never asked, but I probably would have told her if she had

Of course you should tell him how you feel. In a marriage you should always communicate things that are important to you. I would be hurt too that he didn't abide by your agreement.
