Enema

I’m 31 weeks pregnant. Dealing with AWFUL constipation from being on Zofran 3 times a day. The constipation is becoming a huge problem and causing me pain and causing me to throw up nothing I eat or drink regardless of taking the Zofran.

I have tried laxatives and suppositories only for them to cause me extreme cramping and the urge to go but nothing to come out.

I am desperate and bought an enema last night.

I’m scared to use it for who knows what reason I guess just because I never have before.

Also I’m scared that it’ll just cause severe cramps and I still won’t be able to go. Is that a possibility?

Does it work how the box says? I’ll go in 1-5 minutes? If I’m sooooooo extremely (I’m talking weeks) backed up how do I know this will work?
