TDAP!?

Did anybody get the TDAP vaccine early in there pregnancy ? I’m 17+3 and booked in for it today ?! Should I wait till later to get it ?

Generally they do it between 27-32 weeks, I'm not sure the reasoning but you can get it whenever it just would be more in your system to pass the antibodies on to babe later in pregnancy

Did you just book it for yourself, or did the doctor recommend it? If you haven’t talked to your doctor I would ask him or her. I think it’s typically given later in pregnancy. I got it at 32 weeks.

I'm getting it at my 20 week scan. Think it will be fine.

They usually tell you to get it later in pregnancy so that some of the the vaccine an pass to the baby too.
