1 nap or 2? It keeps changing 😫
My son was refusing his afternoon nap or it was taking over an hour of rocking to actually get him to go to sleep. He has been napping in his crib since he was four or five months and he’s been falling asleep for naps and bedtime independently since he was about 8 months. So, rocking wasn’t necessary until he started to refuse his afternoon nap. He was fighting his afternoon nap for almost three weeks, so I figured he must be ready to go down to one nap. Now he seems to get tired around 10-10:30 am and only sleeps an hour and a half to two hours. Sometimes he falls asleep at 9:30 and then he obviously still needs an afternoon nap, but it is so hard to get him to go down for it. If he’s tried so early in the morning he can’t be ready for one nap, right?!? But, if he won’t sleep in the afternoon wouldn’t it seem that he needs to go down to one nap? I’m really struggling with this transition and I’d love any advice if anybody has some 🙏🏻😩
