9 weeks today and I thought I’d be feeling happier than ever.. my last scan at 7 weeks showed me measuring at 6.5 weeks but the heart rate finally jumped into the normal range. My symptoms seem to be fading and I honestly just feel like my normal self, just a bit more tired. We go in for another scan in two days and I can’t help but feel anxious... the anticipation of it is always the worst, but I’m mostly nervous because I treated a yeast infection when I initially got my BFP- and now a month later, I am still swollen and have pain during intercourse but not the typical itchy feeling you get with a yeast infection. I’m extremely concerned it’s bacterial and the effects it may have on the baby at this point. After stressing this for weeks to nurses, they are FINALLY going to repeat a swab after trying to tell me I just needed lubricant... just needing some prayers for strength, and a healthy and growing baby. We’ve been on this journey for over four years and it would tear me apart to have to start all over again
