I'm not sure if anyone would have any advice or what, but my cats have the WORST separation anxiety. They scratch and scratch the door, and the carpet under it. Pictured below is a picture of the carpet in front of the bathroom. All in one setting. The one in front of the bedroom is worse.

We put that double sided tape along the carpet edges, and eventually the cats scratch through it. We've tried like the lemon scented no cat scratch spray, and spraying the cats in general.

We don't want go declaw.

We would let them in but they are awful and scratch up bedding and clothes. They're fine everywhere else.

Any ideas/help ?
