Calorie intake

I’m in the middle of my second trimester and I’ve been trying to pay attention to how I’m eating. Most of the research I’ve seen pertaining to calorie intake in the second trimester suggests about 2200 calories/day for normal weight women, OR about 200 calories more than your maintenance target. For me maintenance is about 1800-1900/calories a day plus 200 more is about 2000-2100.

I know this probably seems obsessive but my worry is not that I’m eating too much, I’m actually worried I might be eating too little. On a normal day I naturally eat about 1800-1900 calories. Any more than that and I start to feel uncomfortable - gas, bloated, nauseous etc. In addition I work out 5-6 days a week for about 30 minutes each in an effort to stay active and keep my strength and endurance up. Probably netting about 1650-1800 calories a day which is just below or at my non-pregnant maintenance target.

My worry is that I may not be getting enough to support my baby. Please someone tell me that I don’t need to force feed myself. Of course I’m taking prenatals and most of what I do consume is healthy food. I’m probably overthinking but I’ve never had an active pregnancy before and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right by my baby.
