When to annouce? 🤔

I’m currently 8 weeks. We’ve told close friends and family but curious when everyone else announced to “the world”? I’m so ready to spill the beans!

We announced right away with all our babies. My son at 5 weeks, I had 3 miscarriages announced at 4 weeks (losses at 6-15-10w) and then recent baby was announced at 4 weeks also. We don’t personally feel a ‘need’ to wait. Whatever happens, happens. And we had support each time. That helped me get through them better.

I’ve been pregnant 4 times ( 2 losses) and tested positive around 3.5 weeks pregnant. I told everyone I was close to the same day I got the positive. I appreciated the support through my losses rather than going through it alone. I have also come to terms with the fact that there is no true “safe zone”. Yes Mc rates drastically drop at 12 weeks but unfortunately bad things can happen at any time. I’m very close to someone who lost her fullterm 41 week baby 😢. Tell people when you are ready to. There is no right or wrong answer. Sending good vibes for a healthy 9 months 💕

We told immediate family as soon as we found out and are going to wait until the 12 weeks mark when miscarriage risk significantly drops. Feel free to announce whenever. I have had two precious MC so that’s why we’re waiting. Congrats 🎉

I’m 8.5 weeks and haven’t announced to social media yet. I’m getting the bloodwork testing done for gender on Monday! I figured we’d announce when we get gender results! I had some spotting in the beginning of my pregnancy for a few weeks, otherwise I would have announced earlier! Had an US done yesterday and everything went great! It’s really up to you on when you’re comfortable to announce!

We waited until my 12 week scan which was actually at 13 weeks but most people knew before that other than Facebook friends I hadn’t spoken to in a while.
