Are the two grandmas of your children (or 3 if applicable) likeeee competitive on the lowest key on who’s the better grandma?

Grandma, grandmother, granny, nana, gigi, mimi, etc 🥰 just wondering if they feel a certain way like in a petty way about sharing grandkids and try to one up the other or are they just cool and stuff because I’ve encountered some petty cases lol

My step mom only. She is honestly getting crazy. Told her my grammie crocheted my daughter a blanket. Her response was “I’m sorry that I don’t know how to make her things like that.” Then will ask who has bought things for my daughter, and if I say “oh my mom got a couple outfits from Gabe’s”, she will say “oh I’ll go shopping next payday and get her an outfit”. It’s kind of crazy, and I almost feel bad that she thinks she has to compete. It’s frustrating I just want her to act normal

We live a mile from my mom and grandma and 3 hours from my fiancé’s parents, so there’s no competition. Just hurt feelings because we don’t want to waste our weekends driving and then sitting in a smoke filled house.

My MIL is a wonderful person and I love her, but she really makes no effort to be involved in my daughter’s life. She lives about 20 minutes away and really doesn’t see her all that much. In her defense though... My daughter is 1 and doesn’t really know who she is. Her daughter (my SIL) basically has her raising her 3 year old twins so she can work late and hang out with her friends. It’s pretty sad actually. My mom lives an hour and a half and sees my daughter regularly and FaceTimes her between visits. The competition isn’t even close. It sort of pisses me off sometimes because my MIL is really quick to do something with/for my stepdaughters (6 & 8) but I guess a 1 year old doesn’t really count to her? 🤷🏼‍♀️

My mom, and my dad’s wife are local and involved. My MIL lives out of state and pretends to know what’s going on but actually has no clue. She doesn’t make much of an effort other than when her friends are around acting that she’s grandmother of the year. 
I just ignore it. Haha

My little girl only has one grandma and no grandpas. But her grandma is wonderful! My MIL already loves her so much and she’s not even born yet 💕 She has a great grandma and 2 great grandpas that also love her dearly.

Only 1 grandma has any interaction with our kid. The other 2 see my son maybe 2 times a year, if that.
