Somebody cut the wire to the truck battery. My step mother knew because none of the car lights would come on and she checked. She says it looks cut and not snapped, my father agrees. He says it is the ground wire that they cut.

The truck works and everything is fine, just the car lights won't come on.

We can think of only 2 reasons someone would cut it. Next door to us is a new guy who moved in to fix the other side since our landlord is selling the property and we are moving too. The guy is very extra nice. Like any little thing he can do he does. Seems normal but like he offers to take our trash out, clean our porch, cuts our grass. We make sure to mention my father (he takes a truck driver so he is gone alot so it's just her and 3 kids) but yet he repeatedly tells my step mother that him and her can go and throw out our couch. She always denies but he always offers for only them two to go and do stuff like throw out trash or look for something. But also my family (including me) are paranoid so just could be us.

The other thing is that my step mother have severre road rage. And little things like using no blinker sets her off. So someone could have followed us home and cut it, offended that she yelled or honk at her. But me and her check often if someone is following us (again, paranoid)

We don't know but this is just really aggravating since we are trying to move and such
