Our neighbors are our dear friends and they have a 9 month old, but since she was born they have NEVER once taken her to any sort of doctor. Meaning she has never once had any vaccine (I’m against some, but will opt in for necessary ones) nor has she been checked up on in any way. Anytime she’s sick they leave her be and her poor little body struggles to fight it for 3-4 weeks if not longer. I’m almost in my second trimester but the thought of having our baby, especially a newborn, around our neighbors daughter just causes a lot of concern.. I feel terrible, but at the same time it’s just my protective mama instincts kicking into gear. Any advice on this situation and handling it? I know they’ll want to come over and see the baby right away and hold her and bring their daughter along
