What age to stop swaddeling & how?

My babe is 14 weeks and we still swaddle.
She isn’t rolling just yet and doesn’t show signs of wanting to be out of her swaddle... but she’s almost too big for it! 
I tried to leave one arm out today at nap time and she wouldn’t go to sleep.

My girl slept so well swaddled but We follow the AAP recommendations which is all swaddle/chest compression stops at 8 weeks or first signs of rolling( I have a horrible fear or SIDS) and it was the scariest cold turkey transition ever!!! We definitely didn’t sleep for a few nights so the regression was real but now she sleeps just fine in a sleep sack! Do what’s right for you and baby!

Honestly you’re probably just going to have to go through a transition period. It’s not going to be fun but it will end. My daughter stopped liking swaddles at like 3 weeks old. It was a blessing but a curse.

My son is 12 weeks and still LOVES to be swaddled. If I dont swaddle him he doesn't sleep long

It will take a few hard nights to transition but you’ll have to do it eventually. We use sleep sacks. I bought this transition one and baby girl seems to like it and sleep pretty good in it.

We stopped cold turkey at about 8 weeks maybe a little after I could tell her startle reflex was really mild at that point. I noticed no change in her sleep we use a carters sleep bag thing just to keep her warm

Get the halo swaddle 3-6months. My baby is 24 and a half inches long and still fits well in that one.

Do you use the premade swaddle? My daughter is 12 weeks 23.5 inches long and I still swaddle her it’s the only way she’ll sleep I was told she can be swaddled till she rolls but some premade swaddles are too small!
