SAHM pick up any hobbies?

Since becoming a mother I have become a SAHM and I've started really developing a love for cooking! I've been mostly using an instant pot but even "real" cooking has become an interest of mine... I think it's because it's a time that makes me feel "adult" and good about myself.

I wish I had time! I'm lucky to get basic chores done. My baby is 14 weeks old and he doesn't nap well unless he's held and when he's awake he either wants to be held or at least played with constantly. If he naps in his crib I'm lucky to get 20 minutes.

And little man watches. I read the ingredients and directions outloud and try and entertain him while cooking. That's if hes not napping. Hes exhausted in this photo but is being rebellious to nap time.

I learned to crochet with my first was a baby. So I cook, crochet, and sew when I have time. This was today during nap time. ❤️

I've always loved cooking and baking. On my days off when I worked full time I would attempt to make something challenging. I've gotten quite good at it and I find it relaxing. I cook a lot less these days but find myself having a bit more time for meals now. I'd like to learn how to knit. I tried very hard to learn to crochet but it's not for me. Your food looks amazing!

Yes I was like this too when I first stayed at home. It comes in very handy when you’re due with your next one as you can batch cook food ahead of giving birth so you don’t have to cook family meals for the first week or two if you have a big enough freezer!

I’ve always loved cooking and baking and still do into parenthood. When my husband is home, I pop on my freemie and make dinner. When he’s not, I wear her and cook. We eat out a lot because we live in the city and love getting out. But when we are home, we eat good :) I am figuring out my return to work situation but if I become a SAHM, I want to become a better golfer and learn how to play tennis.

I picked up cooking and cake decorating after my first kid was born. I made the most amazing cakes for his birthdays. I've kind of got away from it since I started working full time outside the home.

My thing is makeup!! I do a lot of make up looks and organize all my makeup that’s my hobby!  Lol
