W2 question

According to the Internal Revenue Service, W-2 forms should be mailed out to employees by no later than January 31 for forms derived from the previous calendar year. While employees may not receive them in the mail on this date, they must – at the very least – be sent out at this point.

you should get it by the end of the first week of february. as long as it's in the post office's hands by 2/1, 12 am, they're fine. it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get it by 1/31, just that it has to be sent by then.

Wait. I had several tax docs in the mail today. It will prob show up within a day or two. Just has to be postmarked for 1/31

Are you sure they have your current mailing address? As a hotel GM, I get so many back each year.

By law you have to have it by February 1st so I’m sure you’ll be getting it

You can ask for a print out if they have that option for one or if they have an online company website were you can view your W-2
