Diaper help - how many?

Question

I’m going to be a ftm and I’ve still got 19 weeks to go but I’m trying to get an idea of how many diapers in each size I might need? I’m wanting to set aside some money for them as I’m on a tight budget and very worried about spending too much on baby wants rather than baby needs! I know it can depend a lot on the size of the baby but just trying to get a rough amount of diapers in each size I may need!

My oldest was in preemie for a month, newborn for 2 months, size 1 for 6 or 7 months, size 2 until she was about 18 months old, then size 3 until she potty trained. 
My second was in preemie for a week, newborn for a month, size 1 for a couple months, size 2 until she was 7 months old, size 3 until she was just over a year, size 4 until her 2nd birthday, basically skipped size 5 and is in size 6 at night and xs pullups during the day

My baby was in newborn for only a few weeks, size 1 for maybe 2-3 months, size 2 for 2-3 months, size 3 for 2-3 months and been in size 4 now for a long time probably 6-8 months and she’s still on the small side and will likely be in them much longer. 
My favorite diapers are mama bear on amazon. They are great for the price!

I’d recommend more size 2 and 3 than size 1 and newborn. I have a lot of newborn and size 1 leftover and I’ve had to purchase size 2 and 3. I don’t know about any bigger sizes because my son isn’t there yet, but I’d recommend those too.

I usually changed my baby’s diaper every 2 hours.  She was in new born for a month or 2, size one for another 2 or 3 months, same with size 3, and now she’ll be one next week and has been in size 4 for a couple of weeks now.  Now I change it about every 3 or 4 hours.

I’d just put money on target gift cards so that you can be sure not to spend it, but buy diapers as you go. 
Yes, you can exchange sizes ... but it’s a pain in the butt & you can’t do it with Target drive up, which is almost the only way I buy diapers. 😂
