I met my husband online. After 2 years he told me that at first I was a booty call but the moment he laid eyes on me he dropped his love interests and I became his #1. We have such a strong connection and honestly this past 2 years I have let myself go. Horribly. After our miscarriage and lately I have been trying my best to make our bond better. First thing in dating online is dont message the dudes that send dick picks right off the bat. They usually only want 1 thing. Find someone that you can have a conversation with that can last for hours without that awkward silence. When you meet up meet at somewhere that has a lot of people like diners and just sit there and talk to see if you have a connection and don't have sex right off the bat. The right one would wait and come on it's fun teasing them tbh it makes them want you more. If you start dating them see how he treats his mother or if he is a dad see how he treats them and that is how he would treat you. Don't settle for just anyone. We are all worth more then having a guy talk down to us. You got this. I remember feeling lonely before I met my husband. I had many failed online attempts until I made rules for myself to protect my heart for the right one. And I'm glad that I did.

I live in a small town too. I met my boyfriend in high school. He was a senior and I was a freshman. I didnt like him then but when I graduated I started working at a McDonald's two towns over and he came through the drive through once a week because he worked in the town so after a while he messaged me and we hit it off.

We met online, spoke for a couple of weeks and met in a public space for the first time. I’m from a small area too. All I knew was that I didn’t wanna stay stuck in my hometown and married to someone I went to grade school with.... My worst fear for sure was ending up like all the others who stuck around there. 
My fiancé isn’t even from the same state, but happened to be there on military assignment. We live states away from our hometowns and love being completely independent.
