I have a doctor’s appointment but no way there. I want to use Lyft but I’m scared to.

Of course there’s been many stories of it being unsafe but what’s really safe anymore? If it would make you feel better talk to someone on the phone as you’re in the car till your destination but at least make sure to acknowledge the driver. There’s also an app, not sure of the name so if someone knows please fill in but where you keep your finger on a button till you’re at your destination. If you let go of the button it means youre in danger and the cops will come directly to the spot your signal is sending.
