when to call, contractions?

I woke up around 11:15 thinking I was peeing but it was my water breaking! It wouldn’t stop and it was tinged pink and I lost a lot of mucus! I called my doctor and was told to wait until I had contractions and call back. Contractions started around 12:30-1 and have gotten more consistent since than. Should I call now?

I thought you were supposed to go in if your water broke regardless of contraction timing.

I would go in if your water broke.. things usually pick up quickly after that.. in the very least call them again

Here’s the 511 rule (when you should call), contractions are 5 minutes apart lasting 1min (can be 1min to about 45secs) for atleast a 1 hour!
