When are you putting your babys car seat in your car?

Already in. We have a 17 month old so moving his seat over and installing a newborn positioned seat is easier if everything's already done wayyyyy before things get real.

I’m now 38 + 1 weeks 
Hospital and baby bag in the car as well as the car seat 
This is because I’m not always with my partner therefore it’s easier if he has everything in his car as I travel by transport

We've already installed the base after a couple of close calls. But won't actually bring the carseat to the car until after she's born.

I’m 36w and we just put it in to get checked by the tech at the hospital (it’s our first). Base will stay in, seat will come out after we’re done today. Just wanted to get it checked off the list as we get closer.

I detailed the inside of my car at 35 weeks. Which included getting my toddler’s seat out and washing everything. 
So when I re-installed her seat I went ahead and installed the newborn base and seat as well. 
Just so that if anything happens we’re prepared.

We put the base in last weekend at 37 weeks. It is our first so wanted to make sure we knew how to get it in and out. The actual seat is now just waiting in the house.

My boyfriend and I won’t be putting it in until after I deliver in the hospital but it’s ready along with my hospital bag , baby hospital bag and a few items for my boyfriend at the hospital

Mine is in already lol. It's my daughter's baby car seat and I recently purchased and installed a new booster seat for her. I'm 37 weeks so just left the baby car seat in, couldn't be bothered taking it out just to put it back in soon anyway.

My husband & I are putting it in this weekend at 38w, along with the diaper bag/delivery bag. It’s all been sitting by the door for the last 3 weeks though

It's our second and we got the same type of seat so my husband probably won't put in until I'm in the hospital.
